IT Technician
Pine Cove is seeking a ministry minded individual to be the IT TECHNICIAN. The job of the IT TECHNICIAN is to perform general data network support, maintenance, diagnose and repair Audio/Visual needs, as well as PC support and troubleshooting.  It is also the responsibility of this position to think through computer-network related issues and resolve problems when they arise.  The position requires a multi-talented and multi-disciplined person in a variety of technical disciplines, knowledgeable of computer Operating Systems and networking technologies, Audio/Visual knowledge and willingness to stay current as technologies evolve.  It is also the job of the IT TECHNICIAN to ensure the proper and safe use of necessary equipment and to help accomplish the required projects as laid out by the NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR, to whom the IT TECHNICIAN reports. 
As a member of the Pine Cove Central Texas Team, you will be required to be available to assist the Director of Operations and any other personal with non-IT related items as seen fit by the Director of Operations in Central Texas.  As ministers of the gospel, there will be many opportunities to minister in all parts of your job. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Agrees with and exhibits behaviors in accordance with the Pine Cove Statement of Belief
  • Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures during employment to include the Pine Cove Handbook
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws    
  • Professional training in computers, networks and related hardware    
  • Proven ability to support an NT network and troubleshoot PCs
  • Friendly personality and good communication skills are essential
  • Is self-motivated with a desire to serve and do all things with excellence.
  • Must establish and maintain professional working relationships with employees, managers and external constituents, including demonstrating consistent Speed of Trust behaviors
  • Possess current driver’s license and able to drive company vehicles as needed.
