Director of Retreat Season
Pine Cove is seeking a ministry minded individual to be the Director of Retreat Season. 
The Director of Retreat Season Ministries oversees the vision, creation and implementation of all retreat season ministries in the ETX region ensuring exceptional quality service, effective processes, pre and post event consultation and continual evaluation in all areas of non-summer ministries in our ETX region. The Director of RSMis the steward and leader of the Retreats and IWS ministry of Pine Cove’s ETX region. The Director of RSM’s aim is to provide a culture of service and excellence that far exceeds guest’s expectations and accurately reflects our scripturally calling to serve modeled by Jesus. The Director of RSMwill oversee the design, strategy and execution of programs, standards and initiatives that reinforce the overall culture of Pine Cove as it plays out during the retreat season. This position will focus on providing an excellent experience for all guests before, during and after their stay at any Pine Cove property, focusing on East Texas properties but serving as an active consultant to other Pine Cove regions. Furthermore, the Director of RSM will provide staff with the tools necessary to effectively manage and maintain a high level of service throughout Pine Cove.  The Director of RSM is responsible for creating and maintaining budget and revenue tracking and establishing revenue goals for each area of the ETX retreat season. The Director of RSM maintains excellent relationships with all employees, vendors and other contacts by providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating Speed of Trust behaviors.           

Pine Cove’s stated priorities for the Program staff are as follows:  1. Summer Camps, 2. Recruiting, and 3. Retreats. The Director of RSM will ensure that the #3 Pine Cove ministry priorities are top priority for his team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Agrees with and exhibits behaviors in accordance with the Pine Cove Statement of Belief
  • Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures during employment, including the Pine Cove Handbook.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws.    
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • At least 5 years’ experience in program leadership required.    
  • History of spiritual Maturity; deep commitment to and passion for Christ.
  • At least 25 years of age
  • Proven ability to effectively lead, inspire and manage people and projects
  • “Team player" attitude
  • Strong proven marketing competencies.
  • Must establish and maintain professional working relationships with employees, managers and external constituents, including demonstrating consistent Speed of Trust behaviors
  • Possess current driver’s license and able to drive company vehicles as needed
