Pine Cove is seeking a ministry minded individual to be the Men's Director. The Men’s Director (MD) is part of the Camp Programming team. Big picture, the programming team at each camp is responsible for the following things, in priority order: excellent summer camp ministry, recruiting, and conferences. When tasks collide and prioritization decisions need to be made, use the priorities above to help guide your decisions. The job description below is organized by each of those priorities.

 

The majority of the job responsibilities for the camp are taken on as a team. Based on your strengths and the strengths of your other team members the percentage of time spent on each area may vary from other MDs. As a team, we support each other in accomplishing tasks, communicate clearly and respectfully with each other, hold each other accountable to our job standards and commitments, trust one another, and have fun together. As ministers of the gospel, there will be many opportunities to minister to campers. We desire for you to grow in your personal walk and to have a ministry mindset with co-workers, summer staff and guests.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Agrees with and exhibits behaviors in accordance with the Pine Cove Statement of Belief.      
  • Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures during employment, including the Pine Cove Handbook.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws.   
  • Hold an undergraduate degree
  • Only men will be considered for this position.
  • Proven ability to relate and minister to people of all ages
  • Proven ability to supervise staff or other volunteer groups
  • Adjusts to changes in environment or schedule while maintaining a joyful attitude
  • Enjoys hosting and providing hospitality to others
  • Must establish and maintain professional working relationships with employees, managers and external constituents, including demonstrating consistent Speed of Trust behaviors
  • Possess current driver’s license and able to drive company vehicles as needed.
