Development Project Manager


Overview


Pine Cove is seeking a ministry minded individual to be the Development Project Manager (DPM). The primary function of the DPM is to support the strategic direction of the Director of Development by managing projects from start to completion. This dynamic role focuses on Donor Appeals, Alumni and other outward communication pieces. The DPM coordinates events, meetings and retreats to keep the Development and Alumni departments engaged in their objectives. Working closely with the Development Systems Manager, the DPM helps represent Development and Alumni projects on the HQ Workflow Steering Committee. Finally, this role supports the Development and Alumni teams as a backup for donor relations and data entry. The DPM exemplifies the core values of Pine Cove by being Christ-centered, Others-focused and Seriously fun.  


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Agrees with and exhibits behaviors in accordance with the Pine Cove Statement of Belief.
  • Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures during employment, including the Pine Cove Handbook.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws.
  • Previous experience in project management an asset.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver on simultaneous team projects and events.
  • Ability to control and handle details efficiently.          
  • Able to work individually and on a team; persist through projects to completion with regular interruptions.
  • Excellent and proven customer service skills.
  • Excellent professional writing and editing skills including spelling and grammar.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel, and intermediate database skills. 
  • Personal characteristics required: spiritually mature, achievement oriented, persuasive in communications, innovative, and analytical thinker.     
  • Must establish and maintain professional working relationships with employees, managers and external constituents, including demonstrating consistent Speed of Trust behaviors
  • Possess current driver’s license and able to drive company vehicles as needed.     
  • Able to travel within the Region throughout the calendar week.
